Questions

                                 Frequently asked questions

   Q) Do you do African American hair?
   A) We are asked that question almost daily and the answer is yes!

  Q) Should I shampoo my hair before a chemical relaxer?
  A) Never, never shampoo your hair before getting a chemical relaxer, try not to do anything to manipulate your scalp for at least three days prior to getting a relaxer.

  Q) Can I flat iron or use a curling iron on my hair daily?
  A) The daily use of hot irons on the hair is one of the leading causes of hair breakage and split ends.

  Q) How often should I have my hair trimmed?
  A) Every 6-8 weeks.

  Q) About how much should a good haircut cost?
  A) Very tough question. Good haircuts usually range anywhere from $30 and up, but don't think that just because a haircut is expensive it's better. The quality of a haircut depends on the talent and experience of your hairstylist.

  Q) Why should I go to a salon and pay to have my hair colored when I can just buy a box color for 6 or 7 bucks?

A) Unless you have been trained in color theory, you should leave the hair coloring to professionals. One reason is because if you make a mistake, color corrections can be very time consuming and expensive. Another reason is that some box colors come with developers that can make your hair dry and brittle.

  Q) How do I find an extremely talented hairstylist with affordable prices?
  A) Go to Diversity Hair and ask for Linard Freeman
.
